Dobies discount code for 26/27 season is out

2 min read

The new season's Dobies seed catalogues have landed, and our group scheme discount with Dobies and Suttons has been renewed for 2026/27. If you grow anything from seed, this is one of the quietest ways your membership pays for itself.

What you get

50% off packet seed

20% off other live product — potatoes, garlic, shallots, onions, plants, bulbs and fruit

The discount applies to live product only, and a few other exclusions may apply. You can use it as often as you like throughout the year, on both catalogue and website products, whether you order online, by phone or by post.

Where to find the code

Log in to the Members Area on the website and open the Discounts page. The code is there whenever you need it.

That goes for current 2026 members, anyone who has already renewed for 2027, and new members joining now on the 2026/27 early-bird.

Not renewed yet? Early-bird renewal and joining is open until 25 November — and once your renewal goes through, the discount code and your digital membership card are both waiting for you in the Members Area.

One important thing

This is a new code for 2026/27. Last year's code no longer works, so if you have it saved somewhere, do swap it over. It also can't be applied retrospectively, so quote it when you place the order rather than afterwards.

One catalogue, two websites

Dobies have reduced printing their own catalogue this year to cut down on paper but we have some on request. Their website is still fully up and running with the complete range, so nothing is lost on the ordering side: have a browse at dobies.co.uk.

What we have in print is the Suttons catalogue, which is a lovely thing to browse with a cup of tea on a wet afternoon. Our group code works on either the Suttons or the Dobies website, so order from whichever you prefer.

Getting hold of a catalogue

Catalogues are collection in person only — we can't post them out. We'll have copies at the AGM, so do pick one up on the night, and we'll bring them along to other events through the season while they last.

Crossy's Hinchley Wood is closed

We were sad to hear this week of Crossy's in Hinchely wood closing its doors for the last time. The team and the store has been a staple for the community for a long time, and we're gutted to see it close, not because we're no longer able to offer a discount, but because we've valued the team and the store for so long. We’re sure many of you will have your own memories of shopping at Crossy’s, and we're wishing Duncan, Tom, Simon, Cerys and Hallie all the very best for the future, and thank you for everything you’ve brought to our local community.

Happy gardening,

Kat
