Visit to Glyndebourne Gardens (1)

We are reserving 30 places for the Gardens Open Day at Glyndebourne.  This is a once-a-year event and the gardens open from 11.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.  We are promised plenty of plants in bloom in the 12 acre gardens.  The dye garden, containing plants used to produce natural dyes for costumes for their opera productions are of particular interest.  Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. Plants grown by the Glyndebourne gardening team will be available to purchase together with souvenirs from their shop.

Provisional; cost:£27. Deposit £10.  Light lunch available at Mildmay restaurant at extra cost or bring picnic.
